Data Deletion Instructions

In accordance with Meta Platform Terms, you may request deletion of any data Kompozy obtained from Meta (Facebook or Instagram) about you. This page explains how.

Last updated: 2026-04-28

What this covers

When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account to Kompozy, we receive data such as your Meta user ID, the Pages and Instagram Business/Creator accounts you manage, access tokens needed to publish on your behalf, and limited insights/metadata for content you authorize. You can ask us to delete that data at any time using either of the methods below.

Option 1 — In-app (fastest)

  1. Sign in to Kompozy.
  2. Go to Settings → Connections.
  3. Click Disconnect next to your Facebook or Instagram account.
  4. On the confirmation dialog, click Delete Meta Data.

Disconnecting revokes the OAuth access token immediately. Associated Meta-sourced records are deleted from our systems within 30 days, subject to backup-rotation windows. You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete.

Option 2 — Email request

  1. Send an email to privacy@kompozy.io.
  2. Use the subject line: Meta Data Deletion Request.
  3. Include the email address associated with your Kompozy account, and the Facebook or Instagram username/handle you connected.

We will verify the request, process it within 30 days, and reply with a confirmation code that you can cross-reference against Meta's deletion-callback log if needed.

Option 3 — Revoke access from Meta directly

You can also revoke Kompozy's access to your Meta accounts directly from Meta:

Revoking access at Meta stops further data flow to Kompozy. To also delete Meta data already stored on Kompozy's side, additionally use Option 1 or Option 2 above.

What gets deleted

  • Your Meta user ID and any cached profile metadata.
  • OAuth access tokens (revoked immediately and then purged).
  • Connected Page and Instagram account metadata (name, ID, profile picture, follower counts).
  • Insights/analytics records sourced from the Facebook Graph API or Instagram Graph API.
  • Any media or post payloads we cached specifically from Meta endpoints.

What is retained

Content you generated inside Kompozy (drafts, scheduled posts, generated images and videos that you created in the workspace) is owned by you and is retained under your account. It is not deleted by a Meta-data deletion request because it was not obtained from Meta. To delete that content, delete the relevant items in the pipeline or close your Kompozy account from Settings → Account.

We may also retain limited records as required by law (for example, billing or fraud-prevention records), and aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that cannot be tied to an individual.
