Short answer

The brand voice analyzer reads 2 to 5 samples of your own writing, each at least 50 characters, and returns a voice profile: sentence length, tone traits, a vocabulary fingerprint, rhetorical moves, opening and closing patterns, anti-patterns and recommendations. It is free and anonymous, with a limit of 8 runs per hour per IP address. Paste the result into your Kompozy Persona Brief, which Kompozy reads on every generation.

Key takeaways

  • Needs 2-5 samples you wrote yourself, at least 50 characters each.
  • Returns tone, vocabulary fingerprint, rhetorical moves, openings, closings and anti-patterns.
  • More samples help it tell a one-off phrase from a real habit.
  • Paste the result into your Persona Brief so Kompozy's generations follow it.

Paste 2-5 pieces of your existing writing (LinkedIn posts, tweets, newsletters, blog excerpts — anything you wrote yourself). AI extracts the voice DNA underneath — patterns you use without noticing.

Who is this for, and who should skip it?

Best for:

  • Creators setting up a Persona Brief who want it based on real writing
  • Teams writing down a founder's voice for ghostwriters or AI tools

Not ideal for:

  • People without two pieces of their own writing yet; start with the Persona Brief builder
  • Writing mostly edited or ghostwritten by someone else, since the profile will describe their voice

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the Persona Brief Builder?

The Persona Brief Builder structures the voice you say you have. The analyzer works backwards from writing you already published, so it picks up patterns you use without noticing.

Why do I need 2-5 samples?

One sample can't show a pattern. With several pieces, the analyzer can separate a one-off phrase from something you do every time. It accepts up to 5 samples per run.

What should I paste?

Pieces you wrote yourself, not drafts a collaborator reworked. Longer pieces like LinkedIn posts, blog drafts, newsletters or threads show more voice than a single short tweet. Each sample needs at least 50 characters.

How do I use the voice profile?

Paste it into your Kompozy Persona Brief under Settings, Brand voice. Kompozy reads the brief on every generation, so the rhetorical moves and vocabulary become guidance and the anti-patterns become things to avoid.

How do we know this?

We read the analyzer's input rules and prompt in Kompozy's source code and checked how the Persona Brief is used against kompozy.io/tools/persona-brief-builder on 2026-10-23. We removed a voice-fidelity percentage we could not source.
